Dr. Joseph Deitzel has over 20 years experience in the fields of Polymer Science, and Composites. His areas of interest and expertise include closed loop recycling of composite materials, nanofiber processing, high performance polymer fibers, interface science, and polymer characterization techniques. Dr. Deitzel has numerous, highly cited publications in the area of Electrospinning, as well as several patents in this area.
Dr. Deitzel is part of the senior research staff at the University of Delaware Center for Composite Materials where he leads a team responsible for research areas involving the synthesis and characterization of new materials.
